Making Memories That are Shiny and New

I made this layout using the above sketch for the Shiny and New challenge at Paper Issues.  It is a fun one.  I used some gold papers to mount my photos.  Coll and I took a trip to Nashville over her fall break and we had such a wonderful time.  We have such fun together and just laughed and laughed.  Thanks for looking and be sure to check out the challenge.  Happy New Year

Heart Full of Love Pillow

Next to Christmas, Valentine's Day is my most favorite holiday.  I decided to have some fun playing with twine from The Twinery.  I finger knit 7 different colors of twine together to  make the chain to form the heart.  I also used those same colors to create the tassels as well.

You're Awesome

Here is my take on Creative Scrappers Sketch #254.  Be sure to check it out here.  I had so much fun playing with Doodlebug's Day to Day collection.  The embellishments are just so darn cute and the papers are stunning.

Wedding Venue with Ruby Rock-it

I am making an effort to document each step along the way to Sean and Vanessa's wedding.  We went to view the venue and I took this adorable photo in the ballroom.  I used a wonderful sketch from Creative Scrappers to inspire me and misted a foam brush and painted the background colors on.  Love this wonderful set from Ruby Rock-it.  Thanks so much Cassie.

Spider Boo to You and Halloween Hootenanny

Here is my entry for the Boo to You challenge at The Twinery where I used their lovely twine to make a fun curled embellishment.  I used Stiffy fabric stiffener and wrapped the twine soaked in Stiffy around a chop stock and let sit overnight.  The bag and pumpkin are cut from my Silhouette.  I used Doodlebug's Halloween Parade for the tabs which so beautifully matched my Panda Eight flair.  This is also for the Paper Issues Hootenanny issue currently going on.  Check out both challenges, the prizes are awesome.

Happy Camper by Echo Park

OopsHappy Monday everyone:
Anita here and I can't even begin to tell you what a great time I had making these fun projects with Echo Park's Happy Camper line.  It's fun for me to share this slice of summer with you.  This camper is just too stinkin' cute.
Photo 3Ooey, gooey, sticky, yummy smores anyone?  This is actually a gift card box.  The wood grain paper lifts up to reveal a gift card in it.
Camping project
I am in love with this adorable bug box.  I had such fun creating it and love the new solid twine from The Twinery that Lisa and Sharon have in the store.  You just have to get some.  It looks wonderful on any type of project.
Hugs,
